If you have a special interest in communicating science and subscribe to the objectives of the organisation and our code of conduct you are welcome to join SCANZ.

Current members include working journalists, public relations professionals, academics, science festival organisers, museum directors, policy advisers, students, scientists and researchers, science leaders and more.

Membership prices (annual renewal)

All rates include a 5% administration fee and 15% GST.

  • Individual membership: $157.50

  • Concession membership*: $52.50

  • Corporate membership**: $787.50

*What is Concession membership?

Concession membership provides full individual membership at a reduced cost for students, retirees and individuals eligible for a Community Services Card (or equivalent).


**What is Corporate membership?
