This month we will be discussing a new, free online science communication course - sign up for the course here. The course, An Introduction to Science Communication in Aotearoa, was developed by Rebecca Priestley at Victoria University of Wellington and offers a broad introduction to Science Communication and includes material useful for people wanting to find out how to get into science communication, as well as thoughtful content to challenge and inform science communication practitioners.
The networking night will run a bit like a book club meeting. We'll chat in small groups about the course and its content. While having looked at the course at least a little bit in advance might be useful, there are no requirements for having done the course.
